A man was arrested in Warsaw for misappropriating nearly 9,000 PLN due to a banking error. The account was opened using a forged passport. Despite attempts to return the funds, they were not refunded. Police tracked him down using surveillance footage and found over 44,000 PLN in cash during the arrest. He had a previous arrest in July 2026 for a similar offense. Authorities have requested his return to Nigeria.
