A video of a gray seal named Dawid rolling in colorful autumn leaves at the Borysew Zoo went viral, garnering over 10 million views in one day. Zoo representatives clarified that the footage is real and not AI-generated, showcasing Dawid's playful behavior. As autumn progresses, Dawid prepares for winter by increasing his fat reserves, which serve as insulation against the cold. Experts explain that seals have a thick layer of fat that prevents heat loss, allowing them to thrive in cold conditions. The zoo also offers a virtual tour option on its website for visitors to explore Dawid's habitat.
