Artist Eduardo Matos wins FLAD Drawing Prize at Drawing Room Fair

Eduardo Matos has won the FLAD Drawing Prize 2026 at the Drawing Room Lisbon art fair. The jury praised his work for its intelligent and sensitive approach, referencing the Mouraria neighborhood in Lisbon. Matos, originally from Rio de Janeiro, is also an editor and curator. Other finalists included Catarina Real and Rudi Brito, with their works displayed until October 31. The 9th edition of Drawing Room Lisbon features 23 galleries and over 70 artists, running until Sunday.
