The ten races that will dictate control of the Senate

With the House of Representatives seen as lost for Democrats, Republicans focus on retaining Senate control in the upcoming elections. President Trump is actively campaigning for Republican candidates, but his efforts may not be enough to prevent losses in key states. Currently, Democrats hold 47 Senate seats compared to 53 for Republicans, with 35 seats up for grabs. Key races include Georgia, where Democrat Jon Ossoff leads, North Carolina, where Roy Cooper has a strong advantage, and Alaska, where Mary Peltola is slightly ahead. In Maine, Susan Collins faces a tough re-election battle, while Michigan sees Abdul El-Sayed gaining momentum against Republican Mike Rogers. New Hampshire's race is competitive with Chris Pappas challenging John Sununu.
