ASP in Warsaw withdraws patronage from the Żabka competition. The juror apologizes

The Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw has withdrawn its patronage from a competition organized by Żabka after a report revealed harsh conditions faced by franchisees. The decision followed a report that highlighted long working hours and significant debts among franchisees. Dr. Mateusz Machalski, a jury member, resigned, admitting he should have researched the topic better before participating. The competition aimed to promote the franchise model and attract new franchisees by inviting participants to create promotional posters. The academy's authorities stated that the project's design merits were insufficient to justify continued support.
