The Assembly of the Republic opens for visits this Saturday afternoon
The Portuguese Parliament will open its doors to the public this Saturday afternoon, a move initiated by the President of the Assembly to enhance democracy and engage citizens. José Pedro Aguiar-Branco emphasized the importance of making the Parliament accessible, especially on weekends when many can visit. Following a successful trial, the Parliament aims to offer regular Saturday openings. Guided tours are fully booked for this weekend, while free visits will be available until 7 PM. The day will also feature a performance by the Conservatory of Amarante.
