Drone attack on the market. Over 100 people are dead

A recent attack on a market in Nijala, Darfur, resulted in 102 fatalities, significantly higher than initial reports of 21 deaths. Medical sources indicated that members of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) might be among the victims. In a separate incident, Khartoum experienced a 12-hour power outage due to an attack on a major power substation, attributed to a drone strike. This disruption affected hospitals and water supplies. The ongoing civil war in Sudan, which began in April 2023, has led to a humanitarian crisis, displacing around 14 million people. The conflict increasingly involves drone warfare, with over 300 casualties reported from drone attacks in October alone.
