Attack on the largest Saudi refinery. Prices soar

On Wednesday, oil prices rose following an attack by Houthi forces on Saudi Arabia's largest oil refinery. WTI crude was priced at approximately $101.5 per barrel, while Brent was around $111. Analysts noted that investors are concerned about escalating tensions in the Middle East and are awaiting clarity on U.S. actions regarding Iran. Additionally, U.S. oil inventories decreased by 2.03 million barrels, contrary to expectations of a slight increase. The upcoming OPEC+ meeting is also in focus, with producers likely to maintain current production targets despite some countries operating below their limits. Russian exports may face reductions due to increased diesel production.
