Knife attack outside the Israeli embassy. "He was a supporter of the Islamic State"

An attack occurred near the Israeli embassy in Belgrade, injuring a gendarme. The assailant, a minor and an ISIS supporter, was shot dead by authorities. Following the incident, Serbia raised its terrorism threat level. This attack coincided with parliamentary elections in Serbia, where a student-backed list gained significant support, leading to the ousting of former president Aleksandar Vučić.
