Attacks on ships in the Black Sea. NATO responds
NATO is increasing its presence in the Black Sea region due to a rise in attacks on ships. Spokesperson Alison Hart announced that the alliance is enhancing its activities and readiness to respond to threats. A meeting of NATO member states focused on security in the Black Sea was held in Brussels, where it was confirmed that additional resources, including drone combat capabilities and intelligence personnel, will be deployed. This decision follows recent drone strikes that damaged five commercial vessels near Romania and Bulgaria.
