Recent hacker attacks targeted the IT systems of the Italian Chamber of Deputies, affecting several parliamentary email accounts, including Giorgia Meloni's. However, sources from Palazzo Chigi clarified that the email used by the Prime Minister for government communications was not compromised. Officials from Montecitorio stated that the situation is not an emergency and that protective measures are in place, including collaboration with the National Cybersecurity Agency. Similar cyberattack attempts have reportedly increased against other national and international institutions.
