The incident was significant but managed by technical staff. Sources from Palazzo Chigi clarified that Meloni's official communication email was not compromised. They emphasized that the situation is not an emergency and occurs regularly. Protective measures have been implemented in collaboration with the National Cybersecurity Agency, including potential temporary system functionality deactivations. Similar cyberattack attempts have reportedly increased against other national and international institutions.
