In Lebanon, 13 people linked to Hezbollah prosecuted after the seizure of 500 kilos of explosives
Pressure is mounting on Hezbollah in Lebanon as justice has initiated proceedings against 13 individuals, including 12 members of the Iran-backed group and one spouse. They are suspected of involvement in a case concerning a shipment of half a ton of explosives seized by security forces on October 8. Two men were arrested with 250 kilograms of TNT and 250 kilograms of C4 explosives. The Prime Minister, Nawaf Salam, emphasized that there would be no leniency in handling the explosives case. The charges include serious offenses such as violating government decisions and possession of weapons. Hezbollah has condemned the accusations as "unjust and inequitable."
