In Yemen, Saudi strikes kill at least four in Sanaa, the capital held by the Houthis
Yemeni Houthi forces reported Saudi airstrikes on Sanaa and Moka, resulting in at least four deaths. The strikes targeted residential areas and a cement factory. The Saudi-led coalition intercepted three missiles launched by Houthis towards Riyadh and other western cities. Alerts were issued in Saudi Arabia regarding potential risks in several regions. The conflict, ongoing since 2015, has led to a severe humanitarian crisis in Yemen, which is one of the poorest countries globally. Fighting resumed in July after a ceasefire in 2022.
