In Yemen, the Houthis equate Egypt's military support for Saudi Arabia with a "declaration of war"

A senior Houthi official condemned Egypt's military support for Saudi Arabia as a "declaration of war" amid ongoing attacks. The Houthis claimed to have targeted Saudi defense and oil facilities with ballistic missiles. Saudi forces intercepted missiles aimed at Riyadh, while Egypt's parliament approved defensive measures to assist Saudi Arabia. The conflict in Yemen has intensified since July, with Saudi Arabia seeking international support against Houthi attacks. The situation escalated following a meeting in Tehran involving Iranian and Saudi leaders, highlighting regional tensions. Houthi leaders expressed confidence in their military capabilities against any alliances.
