Australia launches partnership in November for the development of the Timorese private sector
Australia will launch the TLAus4Business partnership in November to develop Timor-Leste's private sector with an investment of 80 million Australian dollars over ten years. The initiative aims to strengthen the economy by unlocking investments, supporting entrepreneurship, and creating economic opportunities for Timorese men and women. The announcement was made during the Darwin-Dili Business and Investment Summit, which gathered government officials, investors, and entrepreneurs from both countries. The partnership will enhance Timor-Leste's connections with the Australian and ASEAN markets, focusing on supporting small and medium enterprises.
