A69 motorway: at over 20 euros for a round trip, the toll rate embarrasses supporters of the equipment

Local authorities involved in financing the controversial A69 highway held a video conference with the Ministry of Transport to discuss toll pricing. The highway, set to open on November 6, will cost €20.40 for a round trip between Toulouse and Castres, reducing travel time by about twenty minutes. This toll was announced after the Council of State rejected a budget extension aimed at lowering toll prices by 33% for two municipalities along the route. The funding plan included contributions from the state, the Occitanie region, and local departments.
