In recent years, Fidesz has been stigmatized – this was used to justify why the majority is leaving the Győr faction

András Fűzy announced his resignation from the Fidesz leadership in Győr and joined the newly formed Csak Győr group. This group, led by Tímea Laczkovits-Takács, consists of eight former Fidesz members. Additionally, former members László Nagy Richárd and Margit Prédlné established a separate KDNP faction. Consequently, Fidesz now has only four representatives left in the council.
