András Tótth resigned from his position on the MVM board effective October 21, 2026, following his earlier resignation as state secretary for energy. His decisions were attributed to personal reasons. According to the Ministry of Economic and Energy's revised regulations, Tótth held ownership rights over MVM and the state project company for the Paks II investment.
