Another veteran of the Orbán government is leaving the administration
A recent decree in the Hungarian Gazette has relieved Zoltán Kivés from his position as Deputy State Secretary at the Ministry of Rural Development, following a ministerial proposal. Kivés, who served since 2022, is among the last officials from the Orbán government to leave. His successor, Gergely Peresztegi, previously worked as a chief advisor in the Ministry of Finance, focusing on municipal budgets, and will continue in a similar field at a higher rank.
