After closing the friendship with Russia, OMV embarks on a world-conquering journey with the Emirates
Austria's largest company, OMV, has a new leader, Emma Delaney, who previously worked at British Petroleum. She signed a three-year contract with a two-year extension option. Delaney will oversee the company's transformation towards increasing petrochemical processing and polyolefin production, moving away from fossil fuel reliance. Former CEO Alfred Stern, who reduced Austria's dependence on Russian oil and gas, initiated this strategic shift before heading to Canada to lead another oil company. The core of this strategy involves the Borouge Group International, co-owned by OMV's Borealis and ADNOC from the UAE.
