The National Assembly approved the resolutions on the transformation of MRT Zrt. and the establishment of MTI Zrt.

The Hungarian Parliament approved the founding document of the Hungarian Radio and Television Zrt. with 139 votes in favor, 48 against, and 6 abstentions. The same voting ratio was used to pass the unified resolution for the establishment of the Hungarian News Agency Zrt.
