Formal error in the application. Children's hospital without a contract for chemotherapy in inpatient mode

A formal error in the application process has left the Children's Hospital without a contract for chemotherapy services. The NFZ announced that five entities received contracts, but the Górnośląskie Centrum Zdrowia Dziecka's bid was disqualified due to improper documentation. The hospital had previously warned parents about limited chemotherapy services. However, the NFZ confirmed that chemotherapy drugs can be administered in the Katowice branch. To resolve the situation, the NFZ plans to announce a supplementary procedure for hospitalization chemotherapy contracts. The reorganization of pediatric oncology in the region has led to the establishment of the Śląskie Centrum Onkologii i Hematologii Dziecięcej, which began operations in July.
