Ten railway stations in northern Balaton will undergo renovation, funded by EU development resources. The project includes the construction of platforms, parking spaces, and improvements to passenger information systems. Work is expected to start by the end of October, with specific upgrades planned for various stations. Balatonalmádi's renovation is pending a new procurement process due to an unsuccessful tender. A similar renovation program for the southern shore is anticipated in the future.
