Although it promised to support the school, the MNB foundation ultimately had no money left for this.
The Pallas Athéné Domus Meriti Foundation (PADME) failed to transfer the second installment of a three-year support contract with a Biatorbágy high school, despite an initial agreement for significant funding. The Biatorbágyi Innovatív Technikum és Gimnázium was built by the state and handed over to the Ökumenikus Segélyszervezet. After the first payments were made, leadership changes at the Hungarian National Bank (MNB) led to a funding shortfall, causing PADME to reject further requests. The Ökumenikus Segélyszervezet then requested direct support from the MNB, which was eventually granted, with funds transferred in late 2025. Documents reveal that the MCC received over one billion forints from the foundations.
