A very good season for the Pieniny raftsmen. Over 330 thousand tourists on the Dunajec rafting.

The flisacki season on the Dunajec River, which runs from early April to October 31, concluded with a record attendance. Despite a rainy spring, August through October saw a surge in visitors, leading to the third-highest attendance in history. The weather significantly influenced tourist numbers, with domestic tourists making up the majority, alongside a notable presence of Hungarian visitors. The season also welcomed 17 new members to the Polish Association of Flisaks, ensuring the continuation of this traditional profession. Water levels remained low but did not disrupt the rafting activities, thanks to water regulation at the Niedzica dam. The tradition of organized rafting dates back to 1934, showcasing the scenic beauty of the Pieniny Mountains.
