Very difficult and dangerous conditions in the Tatra Mountains. TPN warns tourists

Tatrzański Park Narodowy warns against hiking in higher parts of the Tatra Mountains due to fresh snow covering dangerous ice. Proper equipment and experience are essential for safety, including crampons, an ice axe, and a helmet. Conditions on lower trails are autumn-like but still hazardous. Visitors are advised not to judge mountain conditions based on weather in Zakopane. Additionally, the cable car to Kasprowy Wierch is closed for annual maintenance until November 6. The park urges tourists to be cautious and reconsider ambitious hikes until weather improves.
