Traffic jam around Budapest: 12 kilometers of cars on the M0, 9 kilometers on the M5

Traffic congestion is severely affecting drivers around Budapest, particularly on the M0 and M5 motorways. The M0's southern section has two inner lanes closed on the Deák Ferenc Bridge towards the M1 motorway, causing a traffic jam of nearly 12 kilometers and at least an hour of delay. Similarly, on the M5 motorway, an accident near the Nagykőrösi road has extended the congestion back onto the expressway, resulting in a 9-kilometer queue towards the capital. The M51 motorway is also impacted, with a 2-kilometer backup towards the M5. Drivers are advised to avoid these routes if possible.
