There will be a new shelter under Warsaw. It will be built next to the hospital

The Mazovian Voivode Mariusz Frankowski announced a funding of 2.5 million PLN for a dual-purpose shelter near the MSWiA Specialist Hospital in Otwock. This shelter will serve both local residents and hospital patients and staff, ensuring quick transport during crises. The project aims to enhance regional resilience and is strategically located near key community institutions. Preparatory work began in 2025, with project documentation currently being developed. Construction is expected to start next year, supported by a revised law facilitating funding for civil protection facilities from 2027 to 2032.
