Beja. Woman wanted in Moldova for human trafficking arrested

A foreign woman, 48, wanted by Moldovan authorities for human trafficking, was arrested in Beja. She was sentenced to seven years for recruiting a woman for sexual exploitation in 2014. The victim was promised a job in Dubai but was forced into prostitution upon arrival. The arrest was made by the Criminal Information Unit of the PJ, and she is awaiting extradition in preventive custody after appearing in court.
