Gasoline and diesel slightly down. There are new maximum fuel prices
Starting Tuesday, fuel prices in Poland will be capped at 6.45 PLN for Pb95 gasoline, 7.31 PLN for Pb98, and 8.14 PLN for diesel. This marks a slight decrease in prices, with Pb95 dropping by 3 groszy and the other fuels by 1 grosz. These prices are part of the revived Fuel Price Lowering Program (CPN), which aims to control fuel costs. The government had linked the program's return to the signing of a tax law on excess profits from fuel companies, which was signed on October 1. The maximum prices will apply nationwide, and stations exceeding these limits may face financial penalties.
