Gasoline prices have fallen, diesel is up again. There are new maximum prices.

Starting Wednesday, new fuel prices will be implemented in Poland, with Pb95 gasoline at 6.55 PLN, Pb98 at 7.24 PLN, and diesel at 8.28 PLN. Pb95 and Pb98 have decreased by 3 groszy, while diesel has increased by 10 groszy. This marks the second consecutive day of rising diesel prices. Nearly half of Poles believe reducing fuel prices is more important than addressing the budget deficit, according to a SW Research survey. The new prices are part of the revived Fuel Price Lowering program, contingent on the president signing a tax law on oil companies' extraordinary profits. Maximum prices are enforced nationwide, and stations exceeding these limits may face financial penalties.
