Gasoline prices drop for the seventh consecutive time. There are new maximum prices.

Starting October 23, fuel prices will be capped at 6.56 PLN for Pb95 gasoline, 7.28 PLN for Pb98, and 7.99 PLN for diesel. This marks the seventh consecutive drop in gasoline prices, with Pb95 decreasing by 7 groszy, Pb98 by 9 groszy, and diesel by 3 groszy. The new prices are part of the revived Fuel Price Lowering program, which was contingent on the signing of a law regarding taxes on oil companies' extraordinary profits. The government aims to stabilize fuel costs through reduced VAT and excise duties. Stations exceeding the price limits may face financial penalties.
