Free and without referral. New examination under the National Health Fund for women aged 25 to 64
A new HPV HR test is gaining popularity among women as a replacement for traditional cytology, with over 412,000 tests conducted in the first half of 2026. This molecular test, funded by the NFZ, offers higher sensitivity, allows for two tests from one sample, and reduces the frequency of screenings to every five years if results are negative. The test is available to women aged 25 to 64 and can be performed in gynecological clinics without a doctor's referral. Registration can be done online, via a mobile app, or directly with healthcare facilities.
