Battle over regulations. Święczkowski responds to Korwin-Piotrowska
Bogdan Święczkowski announced days off for the Constitutional Tribunal from November 3 to 6, overriding a previous order by Anna Korwin-Piotrowska. He stated that employees are not obliged to respond to illegal summons from unauthorized individuals. Korwin-Piotrowska, as the senior judge, suspended certain authorizations and limited the Tribunal's operations due to safety concerns. Following protests outside the Tribunal, Święczkowski urged calm and announced meetings with legal judges. President Karol Nawrocki returned from Senegal to address the situation and consult with judicial leaders.
