Domain blocks do not solve the Lexspace problem
The Regional Prosecutor's Office in Krakow is investigating Lexspace, a portal allegedly impersonating lawyers and providing false legal advice. Specific victims have been identified, including clients who paid for services believing they were receiving legitimate legal counsel. The investigation, initiated on March 20, 2026, addresses issues such as fraud and identity theft. Despite efforts to block the site, similar fraudulent websites continue to emerge. New legal provisions effective October 17, 2026, impose fines for impersonating lawyers, but their applicability to past actions remains uncertain. Legal associations are advocating for stronger protections against identity misuse in the legal profession.
