They fear another block pressed in front of their windows. "Selling the plot is a last resort"

A new residential building is under construction at the intersection of Księcia Janusza and Newelska streets in Wola, sparking controversy among local residents. The project, which replaces an old parking lot, is only 13 meters away from existing apartments, raising concerns about privacy and space. The building is nearing completion, with apartments priced between 990,000 and 2.5 million PLN. The housing cooperative sold the land for 3.5 million PLN amid financial difficulties, and residents fear further developments on nearby land. The cooperative's management has stated that no final decision has been made regarding the sale of additional land, emphasizing that any future sale would follow proper procedures. The local zoning plan allows for multi-family residential buildings but prohibits certain types of commercial developments.
