Bolsonaro bets on influencers five days before the vote
Brazilian presidential candidate Flávio Bolsonaro met with around 400 digital influencers in São Paulo to enhance his campaign outreach just days before the runoff election. He emphasized the importance of presenting two distinct paths for Brazil. The event, organized by coach Pablo Marçal, aimed to align messaging and create social media content. Influencers present included notable figures like fitness entrepreneur Renato Cariani and Big Brother Brasil winner Arthur Aguiar. Marçal encouraged influencers to promote hope while also addressing fears, criticizing the opposing party's tactics. Meanwhile, Lula da Silva's campaign has faced accusations against Meta for bias in content distribution. In the first round, Bolsonaro secured 47.03% of valid votes, leading Lula by over 2 million votes, but historically, no second-place candidate has won in Brazil's runoff elections.
