Boom in trucks, stagnation in agriculture. Leasing shows what is happening in the economy
The Polish Leasing Association reported a nearly 9% year-on-year growth in the leasing market by the end of Q3 2026, with financed investments totaling 92.9 billion PLN. The vehicle segment dominated, accounting for over 75% of the market, particularly heavy vehicles which saw a 21.8% increase. However, agricultural machinery financing dropped by 18.9%. The overall market is expected to grow by 8.4% in 2026, driven by strong consumer demand and EU funding. Despite some segments slowing down, leasing remains the preferred financing method for SMEs, with a significant rise in leasing loans compared to traditional leasing.
