The paramedic who treated a Roma patient in an inhumane manner will go to prison

The Kecskemét Court issued a final ruling on two paramedics accused of violence against a community member. The incident occurred during an emergency call for a patient who was experiencing respiratory distress. The paramedics allegedly mocked the patient's ethnicity and caused injury through reckless driving. Although the patient later died, the court found no causal link between the paramedics' actions and the death. The nurse received a suspended sentence, while the driver was sentenced to prison and disqualified from medical transport duties.
