Braga: 500 million euros against energy poverty

The 4th edition of Braga's Municipal Program to Combat Energy Poverty will allocate 500,000 euros to assist families in improving home comfort. The program offers grants up to 2,500 euros for energy efficiency upgrades, such as better insulation and heating systems. It targets residents benefiting from social energy tariffs, with applications open from November 1 to December 31. Previous editions have supported 488 families with over 1.2 million euros in funding. This initiative is a collaboration between the municipality and BragaHabit, alongside the Business Association of Braga.
