Fire Department Flemish Brabant West buys 10 new ambulances and recruits paramedics
Brandweerzone Vlaams-Brabant West is investing in 10 new ambulances and hiring additional paramedics to enhance emergency services. The old vehicles needed replacement, and the new investment ensures compliance with updated regulations. This initiative aims to maintain high-quality care for residents, with zone president Irina De Knop emphasizing the importance of controlling service quality. The new fleet will enable teams to provide top-notch medical assistance, according to zone commander Tom Van Esbroeck. Additionally, the zone plans to recruit staff dedicated solely to ambulance services, with new volunteers expected next year.
