Bratislava will be led by a new-old mayor. He defeated Fico's minister with a lead.

Matúš Vallo has been re-elected as the mayor of Bratislava, winning nearly two-thirds of the votes against Jozef Ráž. Vallo emphasized that Bratislava residents prefer a different governance style than that of the ruling party. In Košice, Ladislav Lörinc won the mayoral race against the incumbent Jaroslav Polaček. The elections also included local councils and village mayors, with around 4.41 million eligible voters in Slovakia.
