Breda hospital tackles its own staff: wheel clamp for illegal parking
Amphia Hospital in Breda will impose wheel clamps on staff parking outside designated areas starting November 1. The hospital has reported issues with illegal parking causing unsafe conditions and damage to vehicles. With 1,609 parking spots for 5,000 employees, there are times when spaces are insufficient, particularly during shift changes. Staff are encouraged to report parking issues to security instead of parking incorrectly. Previous warnings have not been effective, prompting the hospital to implement stricter measures, including fines and potential loss of parking rights after repeated offenses. The majority of staff comply with parking regulations, with the measures targeting a small group of repeat offenders.
