BRICS want changes in the current world order
The BRICS organization, now comprising 11 countries, advocates for a reformed global economic order and emphasizes multilateralism. During a recent conference in Lisbon, attended by ambassadors from India, Iran, and Kosovo, a joint declaration was signed to promote cooperation and peace. The Indian ambassador highlighted BRICS as an inclusive platform, while the Iranian ambassador called for a new forum for better understanding among nations. The Islamic World Observatory noted that BRICS represents nearly half of the global population and is still in its early stages, aiming for consensus rather than opposing the Western bloc.
