British adventurer completes 28-year journey around the world on foot: 'I didn't do this alone'

British adventurer Karl Bushby has completed his 28-year journey around the world, returning to Hull after walking approximately 58,000 kilometers. He embarked on his Goliath expedition in 1998, aiming to reach his birthplace without using motorized transport. His journey included crossing the Darién Gap, swimming the Bering Strait, and navigating various terrains across 30 countries. Despite numerous challenges, including visa issues in Russia and financial struggles, Bushby was supported by many strangers along the way. He expressed mixed feelings about returning to society, as his life's purpose seems to be concluding.
