Bruno dos Reis leads the Vila Flor Cultural Center

Bruno dos Reis has been appointed as the new artistic director of the Centro Cultural Vila Flor (CCVF) in Guimarães, succeeding Rui Torrinha. Cristina Planas Leitão will lead the GUIdance festival and serve as an artistic consultant for CCVF's dance programming. The new team aims to enhance the clarity and regularity of the programming, explore diverse presentation formats, and strengthen connections with younger generations and national and international artistic circuits. Esser Jorge Silva, the executive president of A Oficina, praised Reis for his broad vision and ability to mobilize teams for artistic projects. The new direction is expected to evolve gradually, with a focus on community engagement and co-production.
