British man arrested on the A1. He was transporting illegal cigarettes worth 10 million zlotys

Customs officers in Poland intercepted a truck on the A1 highway carrying over 9 million illegal cigarettes. The estimated value of the seized goods is nearly 10 million PLN. The truck had registration plates with identical numbers and a damaged VIN, raising suspicions. The driver, a British citizen, faces charges of tax fraud and has been placed in custody for three months.
