Budget bill is worth some 26 million euros says Meloni

Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni announced a 26 billion euro budget package, making road tax abolition structural for 70% of vehicles. The second income tax bracket threshold will rise to 55,000 euros, providing a maximum benefit of 500 euros annually. The government plans to equip schools with air conditioning using energy flexibility funds. Additionally, the tax rate for agreed-rent leases will decrease to 5%, or 1% for rentals to individuals under 35. Meloni emphasized the permanence of these measures despite previous skepticism.
