Storm Boelo hit Great Britain. Thousands of homes without power

The UK continues to face severe weather impacts from Storm Boelo, with the Met Office warning of life-threatening conditions. Residents are advised to stay indoors as strong winds, reaching up to 135 km/h, affect Scotland, Northern Ireland, and northern England. Despite efforts to restore power to 345,000 customers, over 82,000 households remain without electricity. Transportation disruptions are significant, with closed roads and railways due to fallen trees and flooding, particularly in Scotland. Additionally, around 15 flights were canceled at Belfast International Airport, affecting connections to major cities.
